The group today sent FanDuel & rsquo, the licensing partner of Par-A-Dice Casino, an approval letter for its request to start online wagering, according to a representative from the Illinois Gaming Board( IGB ). The FanDuel blog was operating hours later.

The assent comes before the NFL season officially begins, which kicks off on September 10.

We have been anticipating this day for a while, & rdquo, said FanDuel Group CMO Mike Raffensperger. Sports fans in Illinois will experience an revolutionary sports gambling app experience with industry-leading campaigns and consumer safeguards that have helped FanDuel become the top casino in the US. & ldquo, Sports are back. & rdquo,

Customers of FanDuel can register electronically.

The right time has come for FanDuel to enter the Illinois online sports betting industry.

Last week, Gov. J.B. Pritzkerissued an executive order suspending the in-person registration requirement through at least Sept. 19.

That implies that bettors won & rsquo do not need to travel to East Peoria‘s Par-A-Dice to place a wager with FanDuel. You can complete the sign-up process totally on your computer or phone.

The IGB reports that there is currently no in-person membership at Par-A-Dice. Before September 19, Par-A-Dice may want to obtain approval for the internal settings involving in-person membership. Membership can only be done electronically up until that point.

Additionally, Par-A-Dice has not yet received approval for in-person activities bets at its location.

Six states now offer FanDuel Sportsbook electronically.

Illinois is the fifth state where FanDuel runs its online and mobile sports gambling program thanks to its collaboration with Boyd Gaming.

For Illinois residents and visitors, the FanDuel Par-A-Dice Sportsbook is available for download on iOS and Android.

As Illinois-based virtual casinos, FanDuel joins DraftKings Sportsbook and BetRivers. For the start of the NFL season, they are probably the single Illinois bookmakers open.

The IGB has not yet received a request to start placing bets from PointsBet through spouse Hawthorne Racetrack in accordance with law 1100. The FanDuel authorization, which was submitted on August 19, took nine days to complete. That gives PointsBet a small screen.
