The Rockford IceHogs and Hard Rock Casino Chicago have signed a five-year agreement to enhance the fan experience at the BMO Harris Bank Center for those attending matches.

Hard Rock will be the next casino constructed in Illinois.

This partnership seems advantageous for both parties and the residents of Rockford, as each company has substantial stakes in the local leisure industry.

Each organization’s record in Rockford

In the late 1990s, the IceHogs, originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario and part of the United Hockey League, relocated to Rockford. They made their debut in Northern Illinois in 1999.

In the 2007-2008 season, Rockford moved up to the American Hockey League and became the top affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks.

The IceHogs are Rockford’s longest-standing sports brand, with a rich history of contributions to the entertainment industry and impactful community work, supported by the Ideas Charitable Foundation.

Hard Rock recently debuted in Rockford last November, bringing a fresh new option to the local scene.

The current game is just temporary while the new one is being built. The casino’s final version is expected to be launched in about two years, according to estimates.

The pop-up casino features 635 slot machines and state-of-the-art table games, covering 8,500 square feet of space.

In addition to the gaming choices, the game includes two restaurants and a pop-up retail store.

What results from the partnership

Due to the partnership between Hard Rock and the IceHogs, a new 56-seat VIP section has been created at the heart of BMO Harris Bank.

The Stage is a luxurious club seating area that offers personal luxury seating, tabletop bars, a concealed buffet, exclusive bar restrooms, and designated spaces for patrons to socialize and mingle.

Bally’s has been collaborating with McCormick Place to establish a casino, and the proposed loyalty program has garnered the support of nearby businesses.

Bally’s idea centers around giving customers gift cards and reward points that can be redeemed at small businesses located in the southern part of the city.

This is one of five fully proposed casinos. The other four are:

  • The Bally & rsquo Publishing Center of the Chicago Tribune is located in the near north side of Chicago.
  • McCormick resides in the southern region of Rivers.
  • There are 78 rivers in the northern loop.
  • When you’re at Hard Rock Central on the near north side.

Therefore, it is not out of the realm of possibility that two Hard Rock casinos could be seen in Illinois in the near future. Mayor Lori Lightfoot of Chicago is expected to announce a winner by the end of March. Collaborations like these help to enhance the presence of the Hard Rock brand.
