The rooms vary in size, ranging from the 350-square-foot deluxe king and deluxe rooms with two queen-sized beds to 750-square-foot premier suites. The premier suites also have extra comfortable mattresses and luxurious white linen sheeting, a glass walk-in shower and an extra-deep whirlpool tub.

Par-A-Dice History

Par-A-Dice Casino opened in Peoria in 1991, but it relocated to the other side of the Illinois River in 1993, where it still stands today. At first, the casino was run by local investors, but Boyd Gaming Corp soon bought it.

Also, Par-A-Dice was originally a riverboat casino, and it often sailed the Illinois River and Peoria Lake. However, in 1999, Illinois no longer required riverboat casinos to leave their docks, although Par-A-Dice did set off one more time in 2010. The casino went through a couple of renovations in the past few decades and it keeps adding new machines and tables from time to time.

In 2020, the casino opened FanDuel Sportsbook, the first legal sportsbook in Peoria.

Today, Par-A-Dice is Illinois’ biggest and most popular casino located outside the greater Chicago metropolitan area.
