Danville Golden Nugget Casino Found ‘Preliminarily Suitable’ By Illinois Gaming Board
The IGB found Danville Development ‘preliminarily suitable’ for a casino license, the last step before final approval. It looks as though Danville is well on its way to getting its long-anticipated casino.
There have been some hiccups in Danville’s process. Haven Gamingoriginally submitted the city’s casino application, but the IGB rejected it.
Finally, a deal was reached between Golden Nugget and Danville Development to acquire the game bid. The IGB has initially deemed the team to be ideal a little more than one year later.
