Cook Countyhas implemented a COVID-19 vaccinemandate, which means Rivers Casino in Des Plaines will now require you to show your proof of vaccination in order to enter the facility.

The move comes as the Omicron variant is spreading rapidly in Illinois. While the strain appears to be milder than previous versions, it spurred Chicago and Cook County health officials to introduce a vaccine mandate for indoor venues.

Cook County defines”& ldquo” as having two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of Johnson & amp, Johnson. As of right now, an entrance friend is not necessary.

You can show your official vaccination card, a picture of the card, or download a QR code from the Illinois Department of Health’s official portal.

Since there isn’t a nationwide vaccine policy, Rivers Casino is the only casino in Cook County that requires vaccinations.

Having said that, a few additional noteworthy locations will demand immunization documentation.

authority for vaccinations at Chicago venues and Illinois bookmakers

PointsBethas three physical bookmakers in Cook County. There are two OTBs in Crestwood and Prospect Heights, while the lineup is located at Hawthorne Race Course in Stickney.

You must then provide documentation of your vaccination in order to enter.

In the meantime, the United Center has been requiring vaccinations and / or negative tests all season. Yet, as of January 3, the market will no longer accept exemptions and will now require proof of vaccination.

As for those exemptions, the UC’s website says:

Explore the FAQs for the City of Chicago andrsquo’s Vaccine Requirement here for more details, which include detailed instructions for exclusions.

According to that advice, the United Center & rsquo’s Guest Services team will handle any visitors with medical or sincerely held religious exemptions case by case. Those people must present documentation of their prior medical or religious exemption( i.e., a letter from their doctor, employer, or other religious leader documenting their exemption ), as well as documentation proving the negative COVID – 19 test that was given to them no later than 72 hours before they arrived at the United Center.

Wintrust Arena, home of DePaul basketball, is also requiring proof of vaccination to attend games.

We don’t know if Wrigley Field or Guaranteed Rate Field did have vaccine mandates with baseball season just a few months ahead. Neither did for the 2021 time, and since they are outside spaces, the situation is different.

At Rivers Casino, are veils necessary?

At all of these locations, faces are also necessary.

Having said that, none of them have a potential restriction. There were lengthy stretches of 25 % or 50 % capacity at games earlier in the pandemic.

If you are constantly eating or drinking, this law is an exception.

How this impacts the subscription for IL sports gambling

There is still a physical sports betting enrollment condition in Illinois.

Therefore, if you’re unvaccinated, you can’t sign up for a BetRivers or PointsBet a balance in El.

That may change on March 5 when the requirement for in-person membership expires. There is no indication of how much the vaccine mandate will be in effect.
